The Romanian Presidential Candidacy is a project initiated by Ion Dumitrescu and Florin Flueras, part of the Postspectacle Trilogy. It involves a whole team and I am part of it as PR and image counselor of the President. We were recently invited to Vienna by Tanzquartier in order to present the Presidential Candidacy. 

Since the crisis is up and rising in Romania, people in charge took some extreme measures, such as cutting public sector salaries by 25%. So we decided to protest against the Romanian government in front of the Austrian government. Second world country counting on help from a first world country. Still, we`re not poor enough to get as much attention as our friends from the third world countries.

Our current president, mr Traian Basescu, recently declared that there are many Romanian Rromani citizens (gypsies) around Europe, standing in front of museums and definitely not because they want to get in… We wanted to prove that they would enjoy visiting if they would have the possibility. So we invited a few of them (they were all around Vienna`s touristic area, trying to sell some weird publications) to the Kunsthalle, to see a Keith Haring exhibition. It was indeed the first time they were entering a museum.

I have contributed to the making of this beautiful book, part of a project financed by the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR). 100 to watch is a directory of new Romanian creative talent. Very appreciated and also very criticized, like any project based on selection. I was part of the jury and i made the intros and interviews for some of the young visual artists

ŤĀŤĀ + ŤĀŤĀ is a pocket magazine containing all kind of useful and unuseful informations. But looking good. And having very sexy covers all the time thanks to SorinaVazelina. I made this drawing for ≠6, the Time Issue. 

The lady in red used to be a singer and once upon a time was called the Romanian Queen of R&B. She is a total pussycat and diamonds are a girl`s best friends and all that jazz. Now she married this rich guy and they decided to share with the public their 5 stars wedding menu. I couldn`t resist not to make something out of it.
